I've had really good luck with Guitar Center. In fact, GC Hollywood will not only let me photograph and measure their vintage instruments, but if the need arises, I can call ask them for a measurement.

The only thing they aren't crazy about is, taking pics of the neck plate serial...not sure why, but whatevaz.

The Fender Cyclone shares the same Jazzmaster headstock design. If you can get your hand on one of those, it would be a good reference.

constantine, i have jazzy templates. for the routes, body, neck and pocket.

i remade the rout template so it didn't take off so much wood, but whatever.

i believe there is a slight difference in the jag, and jazzy shape, not much, but some non the less.

The upper horn is reshaped on the Jaguar. It's a lot thinner. I think it looks better.
