they will as long as you make the routes.
you need a plunger rout that is deeper but the same size as the post routes directly in the center, meaning you will have to drill into the trem plate.
AND I JUST REALIZED THIS. i took the mute off of my jag the other night and come to the realization(duh) that i can achieve a 4 mm lower action without the mute on. so i would assume that to do it on a mustang(besides the route) you would also have to shim the neck or create the neck to be be 4 or more mm's bigger.
it would be interesting to try, but it won;t be a snap on, snap off type of deal.
