Big muff+fender HRD= Noise

Yesterday, i bought a fender hot rod deluxe and plugged my big muff in and it made an enormous amount of hiss, hum, and noise. This was even when the fuzz box wasnt switched on. I unplugged it and all of this noise stopped. Any idea on how to stop these terrible sounds while still using the big muff?

well, from my experience, the russian big muff is kinda hit or miss with some amps. It works fine w/ my HRDx(1x12) but it don't make a sound w/ my friend's HRDx. If it don't fix w/ a change of batteries, then consider warranty or trade in w/ place you bought it.

its a lbm. It AND my small clone keep making noise. But only sometimes its wierd i wonder if its my cables or something

I've had that kinda stuff happen to, one day it kinda just went away though.

I think if it were an issue w/ cables other effect pedals would be affected. but then again, I am not really a tech guy...

I was using a dud AC adaptor and it made loads of noise through my 2 of my boss pedals, did nothing to my rat and completely fried my small stone. Check it isn't somehow related to your power supply, and try diferent cables and all that sort of stuff
