the re-issue pups are really noisy and prined to feed back with distortion, they sound fine with overdrive and if you set youself up for singles than they may work out but for the most part people do not like them all that much,
my personall opinion, i like em just fine, but thats me.
if you vintage you will be paying too much, but they will have that nice jangly sound and they won;t be nearly as bad as the re-issues.
post up some pics if you can, im not sure i understand how you got just the jag bridge in a mustang body. it seems that the routes would be too big, unless you have the trem, and in that case i am making no sense at all.
