Locking the Tremolo

If you did lock down the tremolo, how?

not to rain on your parade or anything, but if you'll get your guitar set up properly, you will have no need to lock the tremolo.

I never could get my 65 mustang set up properly because about 7 frets needed a refret.

And the bridge saddle adjustment screws were #### as well.

I've successfully locked the trem.

I added three washers beneath the bridge plate on the bars that hold the tail piece up. and then i screwed it back on after removing the springs. The tail piece cant move at all 😁 it worked perfectly

unless the fretss are flush wit body you don;t need a re-fret, and a 65 is around the time they started slotting the frets, which mades it damn near impossible to actually fret a vintage neck.

its a long story, if you really want to know i will tell you, but not now.
