I don't know if those use lfo's or not. If they do, then that sound you're hearing may be normal on a pedal that old which wasn't true bypass. The clicking does seem a bit unnatural though. Also your soundclip is pretty useless in helping anyone diagnose the problem aurally. You need to make another video of just you playing some chords and single lines cleanly by themselves with the pedal at multiple settings if anyone is to seriously hear if there are any defects.
But your clip is pretty cool on its own though.
