So i've been recording with sonar cakewalk for about lord 3 years now maybe.
about a month ago the input jack converter broke and i didn't record anything because of it.
At this point it was working fine.
i went to replace the converter the other day and now the sound in the program is ####ed. It's like this nasty wobbly distorted feedbacked delayed mush that doesn't even have any pitch. and it's not just when i record, it's when i do playback.
But playback works fine on all my other software applications, so i'm thinking perhaps it has something to do with the windows Xp update that i installed?
I'm not sure if thats the problem or not, and if so what driver i need to fix it.
i'm using a realtek97C audio card i i'm pretty sure thats the one i was using before...
anyone got a clue?
