tremolo bar and tuneomatic

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew any good online sites for tremolo bars and tuneomatics for cheap?

they dont work together(i think), the TOM breaks the strings or something without the rocking.... but stewmac is good for tom's... guitarpartsresource has both.

you can ge an unsoltted tune o matic for about 20 bucks from stew mac, i got a few a while ago, and actually made one for my j.s., radiused and spaced for a j.s.

so if u have a TOM can you use a tremolo bar? If not what can you use to keep your guitar from getting out of tune if you want to use a tremolo bar?

TOM saddles are'nt really designed for tremelo use but quite a few people seem to do it without any problems. For 20 bucks i'd give it a shot.

if your guitar is going out of tune when you use the trem its not becuz of the bridge, you just need it setup properly. the mustang bridge would be the first choice for using the trem, the tune o matic would be a good option if you were to lock the trem, but you would have to mod the bridge a bit and maybe even shim the neck a bit.

Ok so can someone explain to me what the TOM does exactly? And is there a specific type that I need to buy for my Jagstang?

ok, let me ask you this first.

do you use the tremolo?

if not then a tune o matic may be ok for you BUT!

i want to warn you that the tune o matic is generally set at a radiu of 12

and the jag-stang's neck radius is 7.25

so you would need to file it correctly or deal with some bad action issues.

and......

it sits a bit higher than a normal mustang trem so.... you will need to either shave the bottom of the tune or matic or shim the neck a but.

or you can groove the saddles extra low to help compensate.

may i ask why you think you need a tune o matic?
