I actually tend to use the out of phase single w/ the humbucker quite often. On a clean setting is sounds like a cheap toy guitar, and I think its just wicked! If you can get the right type of distortion though (can't remember the settings, just that I achieved it once on a Line 6 Flextone amp) you can get this really killer modern metal distortion that I didn't think the Jag-Stang was capable of! Don't know what I did, it was just spur of the moment fooling around at a gig and BAM!, seriously killer metal tone from out of phase single w/ the humbucker! If I can get on a Flextone again, I'll try to recreate it and post it here for others to try.
