Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd say a quick hello and ask a brief question in the process. I've been a proud Jag-stang owner for 10 years now and have only recently stumbled upon this forum - hooray! Looking forward to browsing the topics, especially the ones regarding set-ups etc.
Anyway, here's my brief question - I love my instrument to death but one thing has always bothered me - my pearl pickguard has always been a very dull white/vaguely pearl colour. It doesn't shine like the typical pickguard found on practically every other model I've seen. Obvious answer to this would be that it's just a crappy replacement for the original. However, it's been like this since I bought it from new in Sept 97 so it's not due to ageing. Has anyone else got one with a guard like this? Here's a pic....
