jayson whats ur linkage would it look good on a jsi kno someone has done it before can some one post a picwasnt this the setup on the ferrington guitar?
nirvana23freak yep, im not sure how it'd look thats just my personal preference. you can still get some cool 3rd bridge-like sounds out of it too. if i were you id go regular mustang dynamic vibrato or even jag trem
nirvana23freak mustang tail pieces are cool, and it seems like you want a hard tail so i could tell you how to lock it down and make it have no movement at all, if you want to make rally weird sounds get a jag trem and you can make that hard too
nirvana23freak i have one, i like the bridge/trem, but i did put a TOM on mine and locked it down, it stays in tune nicely and has enough sustain for me
nirvana23freak i got it a year ago, more expensive back then, so like 600 hundred i think. i put a jb in the bridge, TOM and locked it down, and recently i put a texas special in the neck
jayson how did u get just that one pickup?isnt it sold in a 3 pack bridge middle neck?i found a 68 hendrix pickup
nirvana23freak i bought it on ebay, it was like 60, i just got paid for taking care of my neighbors dog when they were out of town, so i spent that on the pick up

kidwaJstang If you are total Kurt fanatic, you must keep in mind that the large mustang bridge w/ its big metal plate was a big part of Kurt's tone.
AnotherTool Stop trying to nail the tone and play the ####in guitar. Cobain had different tones on every album, he wasn't especially fussy about his tone, he'd pick up any old P O S and rock it.So stop with the Kurt ####!
AnotherTool Apart from the "scars" where the trem was, that looks a good job, does it play well?Love the sig by the way, another Jason "The Screwhead" fan.
Rich It worked pretty well. Had to cut the plate that the Dynamic Vibrato was initially mounted on and extend the trem routes out a little bit because the posts for the stop tailpiece were farther apart. You talking about the Yun Bigfoot pic?
