I can see the appeal but they are not for me.

The chrome knobs look whank and the toggle switch looks like a nipple.

I like it, but I'm not that into the TOM bridge. I've connsidered building a KC Style Jaguar with a few "hidden tricks" under the hood.

I would love a custom color Jag with a black humbucker in the bridge and a black Jag p/u in the neck. I have TOM on my Jag because of the humbucker. I had to file down the top and bottom E string saddles because they were too high on the neck. Tricky thing to do, because if you go too low your screwed!

The japan site lists them at 146000 yen... currently converts to $1316. Plus shipping, imports and whatever else.

That guy that won that last one for $660 got a heck of a deal unless it was a fake.

It would be nice IF Fender were allowed to sell them here. Miss Love has to give her permission first, and agree to what her percentage will be. Fender could try selling it as a modded HH Jag, but I'm pretty sure the Cobain Estate would still sue them b/c of the association or something to that degree.

I wonder if the guy who modified that '65 jaguar and then sold it to Cobain knows what history the guitar now has? Sh*t, I wonder where the Jaguar is now? C Love sold his favorite lake placid blue mustang, gave away his blue jag-stang to Peter Buck. Anyone know anything about the Jaguar??

I can't believe some idiot bid $1,650 on it. The only good thing that's different from the normal MIJ/CIJs is the binding on the neck.

i think love still has it. eric erlandson used it in doll parts video but that was probably late 94, but i still think courtney has it

From what I understand, the LPB comp mustang is still in her possesion as well. I know that she sold HER LPB comp that was right handed, but not KC's lefty.

That guitar is a beauty! Worth every penny IMO. It reminds of of Nirvana's SNL appearence as well as the Reding Festival vids. Now all it needs is some tape on the 3-way and lead circut switches.😀
