helsinkirocks So I got the mustang body from Robert today, and I know I'm going to put competition stripes on it once I get It sanded and painted, but would I put the decals on over top of the clear-coat or underneath it, on top of the last coat of paint?
AnotherTool It's up to you, if you know you want a competition stang forever then you do it over the colour coat and under the clear coat.
quilted Yeah, the only reason you'd want to put it on top of the clear coating is if you want to be able to remove it later on. But it doesn't look very good and it's easy to ruin them. I vote for putting them underneath and live with it.
