an old roomate of mine had one of the original dean bolts(dimes first guitar) and then traded it in for the hardtail wasburn(like a week before he died)

it was a nice guitar and all but not my style.

i think scale lengh has alot to do with the sound of an instrument, almost as much as pickups do

I love the finish on that Dean, i'd want that on an SG.

All in all that Dean is sweet, the finish, the block inlays, the floyd (i like them), the only thing i don't like is the headstock.
