'66 Fender Maverick.

You don't see one of these everyday. Apparently they were only made from '66-'67. Not the best looking guitar, but a rare vintage Fender anyway.

I would only do it if I had two of them,one to customize and one to keep original.It would look awesome with some humbuckers and a mustang or a jaguar neck.

you gotta be kidding me, those things are rare, robert OG would still beat you senseless even if you somehow got 2 and modded one.

and these is a pretty big problem, you can't put a jaguar or mustang neck on that 25.5in guitar.

Probably, but that neck looks cool with the block inlays and binding, why would you swap the neck for a strat one?

Absolutely beautiful guitar, amazing condition too. I know most don't like the headstock on these but I have to say, it's pretty cool looking. I think 24" scale, Musicmaster bridge version would be killer to see done.

Curious, does any company make after market split pickups for a guitar? Always have wondered how they sound, or what they are comparable too. Anyone have experience?
