i bought this tele stock(minus the bridge pup had been replaced) from a guy i worked with about 2 years ago
its a 1983 fender tele made in japan during the last years of cbs right before bill shultz decided to turn fender around.
i took off the old poly finish and bound the body with white binding, and filled in the unnescesary routes and then routed it for a ajzzy pup in the neck, and put a lace sensor in the bridge.
its sort of a rush job, but all in all its decent, i have yet to string it up and actually set it up(i just cleaned the binding last night)
and i did not put any clears on it, at all, im hoping that in a few years it gets that nasty relic job that i love so much!
