WELL................ on mine.......I, locked down the tailpiece, modified mustang bridge from warmoth, peavey duncan designed detonator bucker in the bridge, stock neck pu(wax potted of course!).... wired the bucker for on/ off/ coil tap, rewired the whole thing, shielded, blah, blah, i put in a 1 meg vol & 500k concentric tone pot(high cut with a .01 cap to brighten it up even more and low cut, .003 cap same as jag bass cut switch) ... and i still wasnt happy, the basswood blew...... i hated it....HATED IT!!! untill i put in that 17k ohm humbucker....... and then she was great, turned into my fav and main guitar, but it was still lacking in the sustain department and no sparkle....... so finally , rather that fork out $700 for the new reissue which i almost did...... i had warmoth build me an alder body from came out to $400 finished jet black with a badass, tortouise shell cel. pickgaurd and a new conrol plate ....
my god its a amazing amazing guitar, i dont even play and of my other guitars anymore....
