Mustang/Cyclone Case?

Hi,

I will be taking my Cyclone II out for a few gigs in January and I need a hardshell case for it. Fender cases costs way too much around here, I don't want to pay that much since I won't be using it a lot. And I'd prefer a molded plastic case.

Does anyone know if those standard fit-all-guitar cases would work? Is the Mustang/Cyclone body larger or smaller than a Strat?

It's been ages since I've played a strat so I don't remember how large it is.

i believe my mustang came with a strat case... too big. but i rolled two shirts up and put on on the end and one on the the side and its snug now, thats always an option

Yeah, too big isn't really an issue. It's way easier to make it smaller than larger 😀 Thanks!

i think road runner hard shell cases would fit and they're made of molded plastic so ya
