epiphone goth explorer vs epiphone les paul

hi i was wondering if you guys new which is better.because i was thinking of trading my epi les pau standard for a epi goth explorer

yeah i probably have it painted white and put emgs in it to have like james hetfields but i still cant decide because the epi is worth a little more but i like the expllorer

They are bad ass guitars, especially the second run of them with the ones with EMG's. Just cause it's called gothic doesn't mean ####, if you like metal then go for it.

I don't know, i just don't like all black guitars alot.

I do like the hardware on 'em though, i did the flat-black. Just needs more color for my liking.

They aren't for everyone but in my eyes, this SG is the coolest looking guitar i've ever seen. I don't care if it's called gothic, i'm not gothic and i don't think it says "gothic" anywhere on the guitar, but i love it.

The Epi LP Standard is a much better guitar than the Epi "Gothic" Explorer

If you want an Explorer, check out Hamer XT series, they are better than the Epi's you find around today

The Fool SG is better than that EMG loaded mess, fact

The LP is a classic, albeit epiphone.

Explorers are hit and miss, cases for them are huge, rare and cumbersome. They are awkwrd guitars in general.

BUT if you must...The Korina Explorers are notoriously the best generally speaking. Epiphone did do a korina model but i dont know if it is still available, oh, and it is'nt black either.
