Hello everyone, my name is Joe. I am new here. I started playing guitar in 1994 because none of the guitar players in the bands I had been in could play anything I wanted to do. They were all coming from that 80's metal school of thought.
I was a skater punk and listened to all the bands like Black Flag, Mudhoney, Pixies and stuff along those lines. When Nirvana came along I knew for sure that I could learn to play and sing at the same time. So I got a Squier Strat and started a band that lasted 2 years then split. I didn't play again until recently off and on. I'd say all together I probably have about 3 years worth of playing in over the last 13 years. I have always wanted a Mustang and I was given one this Christmas by my girlfriend. 65 reissue in Daphne Blue. It is everything I had ever hoped it would be and I plan to get serious about playing again. I found this place while searching Google for Mustang info. Hope to learn a lot.
