well i wanted to get rid of the bassy tone of the humbucker, so i bought a JB, put it in, still sounded bassy. even for a JB. took it out and put in a JB trembucker, now it sounds right. i didnt think the pole piece alignment would matter, but i can distinctively tell a difference. so if your staying with the stock bridge, go with a trembucker, or f-spaced, it will have a fuller sound imo.
