i like hurbets sample better than the one i did. also, i'm assuming you recorded it from an amp? whearas mine just goes straight into a 4 track. so that could have some bearing.
yup eric, the distortion is just an emulation of a "GUV DS" at full gain. with a humbucker simulator switched on. i don't really know what i was thinking. just trying to see what you'd think of a jaguar with some really high gain on it. and couldn't really judge for myself whether i liked it or not. the distortion pedal emulators sound nowhere near as saturated as that, especially on the presets. infact, most of them don't get distorted enough for my "all or nothing" attititude when it comes to distortion sometimes. i'll make one of them soon
