Fran Well its not a difficult choice is it? JB or HR, white or black? What colour do YOU think would look better? As for which pickup there is a seymour duncan website that explains the differences and sonic applications of each pickup. You'll be asking us which colour socks you should wear tomorrow morning next. 😆
Fran Cool. Why would you like to know anyway? That would help, are you thinking of hot rodding a Strat?

AnotherTool They both will do the job then.Tool, The Deftones and Cobain on the In Utero tour used JB's, and Billy Corgan uses hot rails on the current Pumpkins tour, they both can do punk and monster metal sounds, it just all comes down to your amp.
jayson thanx for that the jb sounded a lil twangish to me thoi just have a peavy 112 transtube amp i like it
Fran Thats why i'm using a Toronado. Mahogany body, TOM, Seymour Duncan humbuckers...it may still be a bolt-on neck but it sounds like a SG with cool Fender looks.
Fran In fact the Jag-stang is an odd one, it does have a dull sound. The bridge setting has no Fender twang at all.I thought you was getting one anyway? You could dew your own EVH finish with tape and a spray can.
