BanditGuitarist1 I they are both quality guitars and the most you could do is get AV Pickups for the jap version it all depends on what you wanna pay either way I think your gonna be happy so go for it!Check Ebay though way better then stores! Usually!
coldwaraudio I just played a vintage 1964 jag and it kicked so much ass it was amazing. But it didnt have as much surf tone as my 2000 cij mustang. If u want really surfy tone get a twin reverb an analog overdrive and a mustang and put the pickups out of phase and you will be sounding like dick dale in no time haha.
