is it on the lead circut?
if you are in the rythm circut and you use the bass cut then you won;t hear anything but in the lead circut you should hear a dramatic change in voice on your neck pickup.
try out this test.
rythm section off.
all three switches off
turn on your neck vol and tone full
and then turn on the bass cut, if you cannot tell a difference at all then there are 2 things that may be wrong.
1. its not plugged in(j/k)
2. somewhere, somehow its still not right.
