does any one have any info or knowledge about whether or not older jagstangs are more worth more then newer models?

Maybe in 50 years older ones will be considered more valuable, but at the moment the guitar is still being made, and the guitar hasn't been around for that long anyway. So at the moment if you were a collector it would probably be more advisable to buy one new and keep it absolutley mint for the future, yourself.

sometimes the old ones go for more than the new ones on ebay, other times it's the other way round. totally depends on who happens to be looking for one at the time. generally the newer ones go for more than the old ones though.

It means that every time I look at it I think of all the stuff I could buy if I sold it.

Not that I don't have the money to buy those things and am looking for stuff to sell or pawn lol... I just have a thing in my brain that after collection X amount of "toys" , I won't buy anything new until I sell other stuff.

the price always changes somtimes they can go for 400$ or 500$.but lefties are worth a lot more they can go for around 650$.

it also depends on the country one lives in. I could sell my JS for over 650$ in Greece(right-handed) because i think i am the only one owning one arround here hah(there are no JS in stores , never were. I ordered it from the States).

it's cos they are the only prices that are relevant to us all. selling to a shop means you get nowhere near the value of the guitar. selling privately locally means prices are very variable and sales are harder to get.
