Fender Jaguar/Mustang Bridge in Gold - Where to buy?

Anyone know where to get a replacement Jaguar/Mustang Bridge in Gold from?

I have one of the Japanese Anniversary Models from 1994 and I need to find a new bridge for it. I switched to a Tune-O-Matic bridge but I am not to stoked on it.

Anyone have any leeds - besides buying a crome one and painting it?

allparts.com should have one. your best bet would be ebay though. or just useing your orignal one.

i doubt anywhere would have one. just a matter of keeping an eye out on ebay. or take an ordinary one to a jewlers. don't know how well gold goes over nickel, though..

the old/original one is kinda trashed...the screws are more or less rusted in place so you can adjust anything...kinda a hassle.

allparts is a no go - only chrome.

spray will look cheap and will flake almost immediately.

He'll need it bead-blasted and gold plated...it'll cost him, unless he can find a jeweler or an independant who gold-plates automotive emblems and whatnot...

Could you just not use your old bridge and get some brass saddles & new screws?

the chances of finding one would be very slim. i doubt they would come up on ebay unless attached to a jag/jazz.
