that is 100% mid 70's to late 70's
that is obviouse by the block and bound neck,(started late 67) and then the solid black decal with gold lined letters( 70 or so- 74) since it has the marking on the headstock under the decal im inclined to say that its a 76, or a 75.
do you have the guitar yet?
it should say made in usa under all that and have a serial number, blah blah bahl blah.
anywho, 2.5 isn't a horrible price for it, but congradulations on your new purchase, you should have done some re-search before you bit the bullet and bought it.
but its still a decent guitar non-the less.
the seller was mis-informed, happens all the time.
