strat neck on mustang for longer scale length?

are you sure? the body is the same as the mustang and the distance between the heel of the neck and the bridge appears to be the same.

you MIGHT be able to pull off a cyclone neck on a mustang body but i still have doubts whether it will intonate properly or not.

what makes you want to gain that extra 3/4 of an inch?

It does sound minute, 3/4 of an inch, but i have the same issues with it. The mustang scale is good, but i have big hands and the 25.5" scale is more suited to my hand size.

I can't tell by the photos, does the cyclone have the oversized headstock or not?

its kinda like tha 60's jazzmaster headstock, bigger than a normal strat, but smaller than a jaguar.
