what body has my jag

maybe someone can help my find out what body the jag is that i am going to by?

its a 2003/2004 crafted in japan with serial q028249.

I can't find it any where on the www.

its a bit frustrating!

its in olympic white and thats the only info i got.

I hope its not basswood, and i'm bying it for 600,- euro's.

the seller told my its alder, and he found it on the internet. but i can't find it anywhere

I found a lot of info exept this!

it could be alder, most likely basswood. basswood isnt bad. dont worry about it

At one time the Sunburst models were the only CIJ models that were alder, i beleive they all are now though. Not sure when this happened though...

more info is just hard to find, ther should be a site where you can find al the technical support you'l want just bij typing you serial number. just like you do with cars or something.

its really frustrating.

i'm not bying the guitar 'cause i don't trust the seller, he won't give a clear answer where he found this info so i think he's full off ****.

i trying to by a usa verion in sunburst the 2000 model with 2 gibson humbuckers 490R alnico in the neck and a 498T alnico at the bridge and 3- way toggle switch

its gonna cost my 850,- euro's and its al scratced up but i don't care.

maybe i'l replace the humbuckers for dimarzio.

What you should do is buy a les paul JR DC and stop taking amazing fenders and then dismantling them to sound like gibsons.

you want humbuckers,

get a jaguar hh.

like stated before, get what you want, not what you want to get and "make gooder!"

i can almost garentee to a 100% chance that you will not be able to hear a sound difference anyway.

i was asking almost the same question for a mustang.

i already bod the AV as it was modified.

look at post " my first Jag'.

i love the guitar its playing well butt the sound is a bitt enchanched. those are like standard less paul humbuckers(they are great for solo's though). but i just want it to sound more bassy and raw.
