there is a reason there is no wood showin thru
when cbs took over they started something called a faux sunburst,this means they put white, or primer down first, and then painted the suburst,
they did this becuz they would use up to 7 peices of wood for one guitar.
now would you rather have a bad looking burst of would you rather be able to see 5 glue lines running right down the front of your guitar.
its definitly an originaly paint job, and the price is not that bad,
it has the case. the trem, the mute, the bridge cover, its extremely clean, i don';t see any discoloration in the pups or tort, even the neck still looks nice n white.
its worth that money to a collector, but to someone that is going to be playing it every weekend in a gigging band ,that is not worth it at all.
