rockman1994 Anyone who went to his concerts or know what the competition strip' color is? Also if i ever get a mustang what would i have to do to install a modern tune-o-matic bridge, I'm a beginner and im no sure about all the stuff
nirvana23freak lake placid blue, his stripe was white, most vintage have lighter blue, and for TOM just wrap tape around the pieces that go into the body, it'll probably need filed so the strings wont come out though.
robertoriginal 69 comp re-issue.don't get a tom, it won't do you any good, stick with the thing stock, get it setup, then go from there.and don't be alarmed if your guitar sound does not match teen spirit. it happens.
TheJam104 haha. i actually have a 69 reissue comp lake placid blue one. The headstock doesn't match the paint though but, I haven't had any problems with it yet. Ebay seem to sometimes have a couple of the 69 comps you could probably score one for a great deal like I did. Just keep your eyes open.

Its basically a Mustang, with a reshaped body and a humbucker. And since you are a beginner and a Nirvana fan, I would go with the Jag-Stang.

TheJam104 I find that the jag-stang is very un proportional. It's even as this as a tele which is wierd but, don't get me wrong is sounds awsome. I would rather just put the electronics in a mustang.
robertoriginal tru, a j.s. is un-proportional, its called offset, same as the mustang, and jaguar, and jazzmaster, and a few others, but what about the tele?the shape is based from a hollow body.how is that un-proportional?
