hi'ya, i've got an esp hybrid 4oo.. its like a double cut away tele with a modded bridge for a humbucker.. i like 'em, (esp's, i mean) but honestly i prefer fenders over anything else.. but thats just a matter of preferance really.. seems like once you get used to that fender feel everything else is kinda.. ehh.. especially 'cause the neck feels a bit more like a gibson to me, which i guess could be a plus if your looking for that kinda thing. made love SD jb's though, ha.. dunno if that helps whatsoever.. but no one else seemed to have anything to say, so yeah.. new to the board btw.. so hello all!

i added a pic of the hybrid to that purplehaze 'pictures of your guitars' thread, if your curious.. came in black, sunburst, and i think some kind of see-through cherry, i think i picked the best of the three. 😉

also, might be worth mentioning, seems like esp's come with higher end pup's. which its to say actual models, and popular ones at that. none of the duncan design nonesence. haha and about how i was saying the necks are a bit more like a gibson, i might wanna note that i prefer 24" necks. but even so.. its no strat or tele either.. kinda feels like its got a wider fretboard. i had a jag-stang and it was stolen, so i've been playing the hybrid for quite awhile now.. and this is a bit random, but i don't know that i've ever even seen an esp that had a bolt on neck, or if thy even make 'em. haha but all the ones i've played felt really solid. too bad, if i could buy a 24'' fender neck and throw it on the hybrid body, i'd prolly not play anything else haha.. but im not gonna cut the thing in half and hope it works, so...

they're worth checking out if you're looking for a change. personally, i'm envious of most people on this bored, for i have no jags/mustangs.. but i'm saving up!

I have an ESP LTD Viper 500S. They are pretty good quality for the price. Mine has active EMG pickups 81B 85N, it is string thru with a tuneomatic, Satin black in color. It is a pretty sweet guitar.

i always wanted to get one of those....

they are super nice looking, i love how they are offset as well.

i would love to get a bigsby throw it on and retrofit some other gibsonesque stuff to it.

I am selling it if you are interested. It comes with the case and schaller strap locks. It is in mint condition. I bought it brand new in August but have hardly played it. I am asking $600.
