ok..i'm not having any help out of anyone else at the other forums so i really hope someone can help me here. Ok..my pup is an Ibanez INF2..it has a green wire coming from it..within that green wire is a black and a white wire. I need to hook it to a volume pot..coming from my output jack there are 2 wires..a white one and a black one..all i need to know is where to hook everything up.

So you're just changing one pickup, so you'll still have three when you're done?

Go to the Ibanez website to find out the colour codes, then just exchange the wires with the pickup you want to replace.

i've tried everything on this pup...should i just get a new pup?

If there are only two wires then one is HOT and the other is GROUND. So one goes to the the back of the volume pot and the other to the lug on the volume pot. You only have two choices so one of them must be right, try it.

Same again with the output jack wires, if all your grounds are not connected you will get no sound.

*Check a Strat wiring diagram if your not sure on the basic wiring*
