Are these things any good do you know, I just want to know really, maybe I'll get one to expand with.

I don't know about the v amp, never used one.

I would say that Behringer are one of those companies that are sort of cheap, just under middle of the road.

When i was looking into an effects unit for my rack, i read up on them on harmony central (as it's kind of hard to get a load of units in one place). My first choice was an Eventide, but they run at

The rehearsal studio I use bought a couple of the Behringer v-amp heads a while back. I used one just the once and hated everything about it especially the synthetic sound and lack of punch. The management had so many complaints from guitarists they got rid of them after about two weeks.

but then again mad mike uses one on youtube and his jag sounds great to me.

i suppose its a matter of personal standard, although when you say 'head' that sounds like amp head to me, i'm talking about the little processor boxes, i use a digitech rp50 and i think its pretty good.
