my first Jag

hey guys

how do you like my first Jag? i paid 850,- euro for it. and over here it is a nice price(i think!?)

its a AV with gibson lp humbuckers. the sustian is great, but its doesn't sound what i'm looking for.

so i'm gonna replace them with dimarzio i think, just to finish of the cobain style!

its 2000 model with gibson hardware with a goto bridge.

it has some user damage her and there but its just makes him look better.

it plays real nice but i must say its my first jag i played. its pretty smooth and has a low action.

any comments would be nice

i like it. a lot of people here will probably give you #### for having a jag with humbuckers in it though.

i just played four a couple of hours and she's real fine! this baby rocks!!

maybe in a while i'l get me the real nirvana sound. with a jb or a dimarzio(i don't know yet).

Hey, i have an HH and HH Baritone Special, so i'm not going to slag you off for having humbuckers. Not so keen on this silver knobs though, but that's an aesthetic point.

the guy who sold it to me was a real nirvana die hard! he even had the tape on it.

i'm not sure about the knobs to, but it just finishes the chrome of.

although i think there is a little to much chrome on it, i like chrome verry much but just a little less would be nicer i gues.

o and yes the middel knob is a dummy but every body knows that right 😵

In that case you could get a new chrome bit with just two knobs and have the proper black plastic ones. i didn't like the chrome knobs on my HHs so i replaced them

two knobs would be nice though, but i still would like them chrome.
