les paul tuners

Hey, i'm not so impressed with my rally les paul tuners, they never hold that well, usually drop flat after a little bit and every so often i pick it up and the g is way out.

Anyway, can anybody point me to a good place to get new and decent tuners for it? [they're those kind that have the screw hole in line, not at an angle]

And i just wanted to mention i got a set of skull head tuners for my jag for

They are about as cheap as you'll get over here in the U.K, they have a good selection, take a look.

oh man i already looked there, but those aged wilkinsons did catch my eye.

i put some gotoh (cheapiez) on a les paul(epi) it was a higher end one but for some reason i seem to remember that one of the holes matched perfectly and the other one was really easy to hide.

i know what you are talking about, those guitars are great all around but the tuners with thier crazy gear ratio always end up failing after a while.

are you laughing or pulling a face of disgust or shock? i can't tell. I was a little aprihensive of putting them on since they may not suit the vintage looks of a jag but I liked them and had never seen anything like them and they hold great.

Now I'm going to paint skull and crossbones all over the body, put on a spider web pickguard and put on skull knobs and wrap barb wire around the neck, not really.

Rob, its a Rally les paul, the gl300 series most probably either 2006 or 07 made, theres no serial and marks or anything.
