jace I dont see how you can really compare them to each other since the big muff is a fuzz type distortion and the small clone is a chorus . But I dont really care for the big muffs though, not my type of distortion. The small clone is a great chorus pedal, I really like the beautiful sounds this pedal can make. You can get a warbly type of sound from the small clone or a crystal clear, ice cold shimmering type of tone.
directorfitzy well, what's your main priority? (Loud Fuzz, or sound modulation?) I'd go with the Big Muff first and if your amp has any chorus effect built-in then settle with that until you get the small clone.

robertoriginal i use the small muff*(i assumed you were talking about overdrives)at end of my chain to add a bit of "fuzz" to the whole thing.
TheJam104 yeah they are a little expensive but it's worth every penny. The boss fuzz pedals is $150 or something like that and its pure ####.
cobascis As previously stated, you can't compare a fuzz and a chorus pedal. Prioritize, do you already have a decent OD/Fuzz effect, or a build in distortion? If so, go with the Small Clone, and vice versa.

XxMangoxX Get the Small Clone and a Ds-1((if you don't already have one)). The Small Clone is one of the best sounding chorus opedals out there and the Ds-1 is cheap, but can deliver good distorted tones. :/
