installing pickups for the first time

hey i got a jag-stang and im installing seymour duncan hotrails and jb's

i got a solder gun and i was wondering if there was anything else i needed

im also looking for jagstang schematic's and any tips anyone can offer for installing pickups :] 50$ is just too much for me to spend on getting it installed so i rather learn how

Assuming, of course, you already have the basic tools, you'll need acid paste flux and solder. And I doubt you'll need the solder, but you should have it 'just in case'

yeah, but there's still not a diagram that shows how to wire 4 wire pickups to the stangs switches though.
