It turns out that it's going to cost way more to have a pickguard cut with the coprolite than I expected, and I would probably run into a lot of problems with it; so I no longer need the tracing, but thanks anyway.
However, I do have two questions:
1) Is the difference between vintage and reissue pickguards so great that they will not work with one another?
2) Where can I get a custom pickguard made in brown tortoise shell -- perhaps someone here makes them? I remember purchasing a custom Jag-Stang pickguard from someone here in 2002. It looks like I will most likely be working with a reissue Mustang body. I should also note that I want it cut only for one slanted single-coil neck pickup.
