ewww. It's not even that it makes it look cheap, its just the fact that it looks bad to me. I like the cheap factor.

Did you put chrome for the volume/tone pot as well on the Jagmaster? I didn't even realize it was a Jagmaster, but now that I look, i see that the bridge is stratocaster.

lol yeah, I haven't put the neck in yet, when I put that on I think I'm going to take it to my local guitar repair man so I don't, I don't know screw it in the wrong place or something.

Ah, I know what you're talking about. I dunno, I like 'em both. Either one will do for me, the yellow, instead of clearness just makes it look older I think.

No I didn't put a chrome lower plate on. It's a different size and shape so the bridge would get in the way.

My favourite guitar (the sunburst fugly) Jag has gone in for a repair. ☹

As for the burst on them I prefer the severe 70's style and I like to see a bit of wood figuring in the middle.

Fender started doing that in the CBS years to cut cut costs. Instead of selecting bodies with nice wood grains to show through they just slapped some yellow paint on the undercoats to cover up any imperfections. Brilliant!

That I didn't know, but it makes perfect sense.

I think both bursts are great looking.

Web cam, no.

Camera, yes, but sound isn't supreme. I already hate having my picture taken, it's hard enough to get a video of me, especially if I'm the one taping myself, that's just weird to me.

CIJ reissue candy apple red. I was going to look up the exact year via the serial number, but was too lazy to find sufficient resources. Anybody know a good way to tell?

I tried to include a couple related items for a sense of scale. Mixed results:

I have already purchased a buzzstop, which I am going to install and see if it solves some of the proverbial string-jumping problems. A black pearloid pickguard is also in the mail 😈
