Tremelo Arm/ Whammy Bar??

Wellllll....... ive read some articles before about whammy bars, but mine still falls out when move about. Ive shoved it pretty hard in but dont wanna poke it all the way thru. Any tips? is it worth getting a replacement lower bridge section?

You can push it in with a little force as there is a cavity underneath the trem system.

A quick fix is to wrap a bit of tape around the bottom of the arm. But if you look at the diagrams on this page;

You should get a better idea of what is going on under the trem. You may be able to tighten the collet, i forget now as it is some time since i messed with the trem.

What model Jaguar do you have? Generally AVRI tremelos are viewed as the best, then CIJ then the dreaded allparts replacement.

if you don't ile the trem arm to swing around then tape is the best option, wrap regular selotape around six times and it should be the perfect width, although it tends to wear out and come unstuck from the arm and gets left behind in the slot when you pull it out so paper is a better bet.
