Well, I guess I jinxed myself. 2 days after saying nice things about my Marshall GV-2 Overdrive pedal, it crapped out and I sent it back to Musicians Friend. Their return policy is interesting, they are just going to send me a gift-card for the dollar amount of the pedal, so I don't have to get the same thing to replace it.
With that said, I've been trying to decide if I want the same thing again - I did like my GV-2, or something else.
I was reading reviews on some of the "boutique-y" pedals -
Jacques TB-2
Maxon OD-808
And I also was looking at the Sansamp GT-2, but depending on the review, I'm not sure it does what I'm needing.
I didn't really like the newer Tubescreamers - i have a little 25W Fender Solid State, and it sounded like crap.
So - any suggestions? Must be available at Musicians Friend.
Thanks!
