this will sound crazy but that crappy bridge pup would probly sound perfect, nice n jangly like an old strat, just crank up the amp, mild overdrive and loads of revereb.
i say this becuz that lower output pickup will react more with your playing then the hot rails, but the texas special is a decent lil pup.
