How much are they worth nowadays? I am especially thinking of a 1969 competition model.

I saw one at my local guitar center and it was over 1k for sure.

the few that have been on ebay recently have been BIN at like 2 grand OBO. so really expensive

watch around on ebay and craigslist.

there is a guy on the shortscale that has like 6 compstangs from various years in all the colors availble/styles(all vintage)

he would know what a good price is.

Most of 'em that I see go for like 1.5 grand or so.
