NicketyJay Another question similar to the last thread I posted - exactly how uncompatible are vintage pickguards with RI bodies? I suppose a simpler question would be if anybody knew where I could find a simple white/black/white pickguard for a 69 RI Mustang body because I can only find pearloid no matter where I look. Apparently Warmoth doesn't fit actual Fender bodies? Any help/tips regarding this topic would be greatly appreciated.- NJ
robertoriginal allparts would have something too.i know a fellow that was able to put a vintage musicmaster guard on a jag-stang.someone once said that the re-issue guards were based off of shrunken vintage ones, so there is a slight shape difference.
