My bands EP (featuring jag)

i'd love it if people would have a listen from this forum. the 3rd track down has the jag in for the most part, apart from the very end and the tapping riff that sounds like a synth. i just play guitar in the band. the 1st and last track on there are the more rocky ones but without the jag. let me know what u think.

it was all recorded on pro tools 7 and we had 11 seperate guitar tracks on the 1st (we actual had 18 cos we were using both mics on some) and was recorded through my jcm900 dual reveb 100 watt head and 4x12.

It's all a bit U2 for my liking, but the performance and production is pretty damn flawless, so well done.

Sounds good. Not exactly my taste...I was getting big U2 crossed with Bon Jovi vibes from it... But like the other guys said, production is excellent.

i've got to say, i don't like the vocals. they are quite deep woman-ey deep voice type stuff, in one of the songs. almost like morrissey or that woman out of the deep south (i don't mean to say whoever is singing is effeminate, just that i don't like the voice. sorry).

as far as the guitar tone goes, which is what relates to this forum, sounds good to me

Sounds great, though not totally my style (i'm the only shredder here), sounds kind of like a mixture of modern rock with U2 and some early REM in there.

cheers for all the comments. yeah the u2 comment happens quite often. our singer loves them and he writes the songs. he told me that he tried not to write too much in the style of u2 but when i get hold of the songs and rip them apart and put my guitar in it comes out like that anyway. hehe.

my jag is just a stock japan. just through a dd-6 delay for most part of that song. just cranking the amp up loud. think it turned out well for a bedroom recording.
