Original '62 PU's on a '62 reissue??

Hi.

I own a 2007 Limited Run Thin skin Jaguar.

I'm thinking of geting a pair of original PU's of a 1962 jag.

Will these original '62 PU's fit in my '62 reissue??

yeah they will fit just fine, since the thin skin is an american.

im not really sure why you would want to(unless you had a set just sitting around)

Yes, I have spare set of PU's (original '62).

My thin skin is a fiesta red one with matching headstock. Really nice.

Don't you think it would be an improvement replacing the stock PU's with the original '62's?

Aged magnets seem to be the way to go so i would imagine it will be an improvement. I noticed my 64 pickups are very mellow but still work well with overdrive.
