I was wandering if anybody can help me date my Jag. I've already found out information on the serial. The problem i have is on the back of the neck it says "crafted in Japan" and the serial number is V030540.
When i try to date the guitar by the serial number it equals this "V + 6 DIGITS 1996-1997, made in Japan" jag. But it says crafted in Japan on the neck and there is no V + 6 digit serial number associated with the Crafted in Japan serial numbers. I'm quite confused! any ideas will be greatly appreciated. By the way the colour of the guitar is cream/white with red scratch plate.
