Okay so I'm planning to buy my friends Jagstang very soon and I've played it a lot, but like a lot of guitarist I'm not too fond of the stock pickups.
So I went to Guitar Center and asked some of the guys down there which pickups would be good replacement pickup for the neck and humbucker for the bridge.
I told them that my band is very experimental playing hardcore, surf, post punk, alternative, grunge, and very radiohead influnced using a lot of FX.
They suggested a fender vintage noiseless for the neck and a Gibson burstbucker for the bridge.
At first I thought it was a good suggestion but I'm not sure... Would the Gibson burstbucker work for the bridge being a Gibson part I was just wondering if it would work because I read that it needed to be F-shaped or fender guitars and gibsons are not F-shaped.
If you have better pickup suggestions for my type of playing please suggest!
Thanks for your help.
